Shades of Things to Come....in 2009...

2009...here we come! If you believe what some nay sayers say, we will all be gone by 2010, or was it 12? Never mind, I just won't buy into that fear. As an Astrologer it is clear by the Planet Pluto (some renamed this a planetoid, but I digress)...Pluto has moved into Capricorn. A major shift for this small but mighty King of the Underworld. For me, Joseph Cambell and Carl Jung (not necessarily in that order!) said it best....Underworld drama is not a bad thing but a journey into the deeper realms of the Psyche, what is the hidden and what some call "The Shadow" side of our personality. Truth is we all have these hidden aspects of ourselves, and by bringing them up into the light we can release their hold on our unconscious behaviour. It is through these experiences we become more whole, happier and freer. So, what will come into awareness for you? A new gift waiting to be used and developed? A new life or a better understanding of the life you have been living? Maybe a riddle of the unconscious solved through a special dream or a sycronicity that became clear. We never know where our own inner realms lead us but they are always worth the journey. Your own personal Astrology Chart is the very Map of your Soul, therefore a much needed compass within. And finally, I have been asked to lecture on the "Mysteries of The Tarot" on 3rd Feb, 2009 in London at Miller's Academy of Arts and Sciences in Hereford St., Westborne Grove. The lecture will comprise 45 minutes of my in depth understanding of the Mysteries, Imagery Definations and History of the 78 Tarot Cards.I will be using the Ryder Waite Tarot and a Workbook, called, "The Tarot" which I have written to demonstrate with, both will be available to buy as well. It will be a great evening with a buffet dinner served and some of my psychic reader collegues and I will be offering 15 and 30 minutes private readings afterwards. Writing from the Heart

Having started this blog back in July, I found myself so busy, that I haven't been able to write here...sounds like most people I know! We live these revolving door lives of busyness, working, or working on something, someone, and/or even ourselves. All feels like a full time job. And ultimately we ask the inevitable question that usually arises sometime within a life, but mostly within middle age..."What's it all for? What does it all mean?" Good question, isn't it? What is a Life really about? Are we here because of a biological act? Or is there more to the story? And if so, how does one find out about it? For myself, this very question and all that goes with it is like the sail to my ship....it leads me down some of the most astounding and intriging paths...really, a mystic's path. And what is a Mystic's path? One where you question, and keep questioning the plan of life, to render up what was told to you and discover for your very self a relationship with the Divine, whatever that may be to you personally. Within that picture will be a much bigger plan and picture which I have found we are all, each and every one of us, a part of. Like actors on a stage each playing our part, but improvising here and there, too. (And sometimes completely rewriting the "script"!) We take on our roles with vigor or with trepidation, and off we go, down the birth canal, hoping for the very best. How we greet and experience each scene is up to us, given our environment and education. There will be parameters, and limitations, and yet a series of graduation and growth. All lives contain these elements, and some souls have been doing this so many times they seem to glide through their lives effortlessly, others slower and sometimes with great difficulty. But I have also learned not to judge. For when a soul is great, and old and wise, it can take on a very, very difficult life to inspire others. So, never judge another's life, and see beyond what is surface value. There in lies the much sought after and questioned,  "Meaning of Life". Our "Purpose" is the very part we signed up to play. So, "break a leg", as they say in show business, and "All the World's a Stage", as Shakespeare knew...remember, it's all an Act, anyway!

I just had to add a blog, because I have so much to say about the way the world is going, my own spiritual journey, my book writing and so many points in between!

You know, no one comes here with a map, or even a clue as to what life is about. We are all here to discover that, and that my friends, IS the journey!

I can only say sometimes the road has been smooth sailing, and sometimes the bumps have been more like "hit and run" accidents! It seems to me I am not alone in this, in fact, I would be brave enough to say that most of us feel this way but.....to not question, ask, discover and even rebel and be something different...well, what would be the point of being anonymous? BE who you came here to BE.....and soar and grow and spin people around with your unique song....dance to that rhythm that only YOU can hear and we will all benefit from your Grace! Be Beautiful!
