What it is it?

Portal 117 is a web based application for the PSP that provides easy access to websites and files and also allows games and applications to be used without an internet connection.

What requirements does it have?

At least firmware 2.00 for the PSP (required)
Memory stick space to fit the Portal (required)
Flash enabled PSP browser (recommended)
WiFi Access (recommended)
Extra space on memory stick for file downloads (recommended)

How does it work?

The Portal is a collection webpages that are stored on your memory stick and viewed through the PSP internet browser. It has different pages for every feature group and easy links to each file or website. Downloads and links do require a WiFi connection although all games and most applications can be run offline.

Yeah, Portal 117 accross all version has had around 20,000 downloads making it one of the most popular Portals for the PSP. Its proved popular because of its easy use and wide variety of content.
