Bert recently celebrated his 90th birthday.
Married to Phyl in 1940 this year they celebrate their 66th wedding anniversary.
Bert is Hampshire's President and his darting talents saw him reach the finals of the news of the world championships in 1958, he still supports his county team and travels when able to, also remains involved with darts in Basingstoke.
