You have selected: Open Edition Firmware Read-Me. Please scroll to the OE firmware which you are having trouble with or involved with for some brief info on how to install.
3.40 OE-A Installation
1. Make sure you have more than 75% battery power.
2. Connect your PSP to the computer via USB.
3. Put PSP into USB mode.
4. Select the installer appropriate for you, 1.50 user or 3.xx OE User.
5. Select the PSP's Drive.
6. Click "Install"
7. Return to the PSP's Cross Media Bar.
8. Go to GAME -> Memory Stick -> 3.40 OE-A Flasher.
9. Follow on-screen instructions and you will be at 3.40 OE-A in a few minutes.
3.30 OE-A Installation
1. Make sure you have more than 75% battery power.
2. Connect your PSP to the computer via USB.
3. Put PSP into USB mode.
4. Select the installer appropriate for you, 1.50 user or 3.xx OE User.
5. Select the PSP's Drive.
6. Click "Install"
7. Return to the PSP's Cross Media Bar.
8. Go to GAME -> Memory Stick -> 3.30 OE-A Flasher.
9. Follow on-screen instructions and you will be at 3.30 OE-A in a few minutes.
10. 3.30 OE-A' is an update to this firmware. Use it ONLY AFTER 3.30 OE-A installation.
11. Copy the folder to your GAME150 folder. Run the update and in 7-10 seconds you will be updated.
n00b Proof Installation 3.10 OE-A' installation -
1. Select the correct installer for you, 3.xx OE User or 1.50 User.
2. Connect your PSP to the computer via USB.
3. Put PSP into USB mode.
4. Run the installer.
5. Select the PSP's Drive.
6. Click "Install"
7. Return to the PSP's Cross Media Bar.
8. Go to GAME -> Memory Stick -> 3.10 OE-A Flasher and press X.
9. Follow on-screen instructions and you will be at 3.10 OE-A in a few minutes.
10. Once completed, go to GAME -> Memory Stick -> 3.03 OE-A2 Update and press X. (Yes, 3.03 OE-A2 was a type-o).
11. You have successfully completed the 3.10 OE-A' installation. Congratulations!
n00b Proof Installation 3.03 OE-C installation -
1. Make sure you have more than 75% battery power.
2. Connect your PSP to the computer via USB.
3. Put PSP into USB mode.
4. Select the installer appropriate for you, 1.50 user or 3.xx OE User.
5. Select the PSP's Drive.
6. Click "Install"
7. Return to the PSP's Cross Media Bar.
8. Go to GAME -> Memory Stick -> 3.03 OE-C Flasher.
9. Follow on-screen instructions and you will be at 3.03 OE-C in a few minutes.
