3.50 Downgrader

Requirements
------------
In order to downgrade a 3.50 PSP you will need the following:

 - Original LUMINES UMD (UK or US), Platinum

 - If you have a 3.10,3.11,3.30 or 3.40 firmware psp update to 3.50 and then use this downgrader.
   The firmware update can be found in the same section where you downloaded this downgrader.
 
 - 75% or more Battery Life.

 - A USB Cord/Memory Stick Duo Reader

 - A AC Adapter plugged in (Not mandatory, but a very big precaution)

Instructions
------------
Here are the steps to downgrade any 3.50 PSP to 1.50:


1  - Double click 3.50 Downgrader.exe

2  - Plug in your PSP via USB to your computer.

3  - Select your PSP's Drive (F:/ or G:/ for example)

4  - Select Your PSP's Drive For The Install

5  - Load Lumines and press x to start the game

6 - The screen will clear to black and fill with a light blue colour, then
     the PSP will reset itself.

7 - Check that HEN is running by going to system settings, then to
     "System Information" and it should show up as system version
     350 HEN. If this is not so, then go back to step 5.

4 - If it is showing up as HEN then go to GAME -> Memory Stick and
    and press x on the x.yz update

5- If you have an unpatched TA-082 or higher motherboard, you will be
     prompted to allow the downgrader to patch your motherboard so it
     can be safely downgraded.  The downgrader will not let you proceed
     without patching, if your motherboard requires it.

6 - Before the downgrader does anything to your PSP it will ask
     for you to agree to what it is doing, if you no longer want to
     continue press the Right Shoulder Button (R-TRIGGER).

7 - Once you have agreed to start the downgrade do not unplug the
     PSP, or try and restart it

8 - Once finished the PSP will ask you to press X, and reset itself

9- All done, ENJOY!

    
Hint: If you psp has a blank screen after it resets, press the screen brightness
      button a few times and it should sort it out.

     
Trouble: Try formatting your memory stick, don't forget to backup all your stuff.

 

3.03 Downgrader ReadMe

Before you downgrade, you need:

-To upgrade to 3.03 if not done so.
-An unpatched version of Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories (will have a version 2.00 upgrade on it).
-An IQ of 50 or more.

Step 1 - Simply extract to your PSP Driver using the installer.
Step 2 - Once completed,put in an unpatched version of Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories.
Step 3 - Run Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories.
Step 4 - After a series of loading screens, the PSP should flash blue. If it flashes red, it didn't work and repeat.
Step 5 - Once flashed blue, on the PSP cross media bar, go to Settings -> System Settings -> System Information. The
firmware version should read, 3.03 HEN. If so, proceed to step 6, if it does not say 3.03 HEN, repeat steps 3-4.
Step 6 - Make sure you have 75% or more battery power before proceeding to Step 7.
Step 7 - On the PSP's Cross media bar, go to Game -> Memory Stick -> Update Version X.YZ. Highlight it and press X to begin.
Step 8 - Follow on screen instructions and you should be downgraded to 1.50 in a few minutes.
Step 9 - If it says, "Restart PSP manually" you have successfully downgraded from 3.03 to 1.50. Congratulations!

2.80 Downgrader (TA-082 Support)

This is Stallone's 2.80 Downgrader Pack. Please follow the steps carefully.


Step 1. Format your memory stick.
Step 2. Verify that your PSP's battery power is over 75%.
Step 3. Connect your PSP to your computer via USB and put your PSP into USB mode.
Step 4. Double click "2.80 Downgrader.exe"
Step 5. Browse for your PSP's drive (F:/, G:/ ETC.)
Step 6. Press Install
Step 7. Once completed, we must activate HEN-D ->

- Go to the Photo Viewer and enter the HEN_280 section.

- If the psp just freeze, reboot your psp and try again. Currently the tiff is very unstable and it
  is only executed sometimes.

- When you run the program, you'll see a coloured screen that can be one of two colors:
  * Red: the files couldn't be written to the flash (it happens a few times). Just keep trying.
  * Pale Blue: The files were written succesfully, and HEN is active. After that, the xmb will be rebooted.

Step 8. Once you have successfully installed HEN-D, check if you have a TA-082 Model.

If you have a TA-082 model, proceed to step 9. If not, skip to step 10.

Step 9. On the XMB, go to GAME -> Memory Stick -> and press X on the 2.80 IDStorage Changer.
Follow on-screen instructions. Once completed, it will return to the XMB.

Step 10. On the XMB, go to GAME -> Memory Stick -> and press X on the "Update X.YZ"

Step 11. Follow the on-screen instructions and you'll be at 1.50 in a few minutes =).

Step 12. Once completed and on 1.50, you may get the Blue Screen. Just hit O a few times and it will reboot.

Step 13. Format the memory stick.

Step 14. COngratulations, you're on 1.50!

2.71 Downgrader

Installation:

Double click 2.71-1.50DownGrade.exe, choose your psp drive,
then extract and everything's installed.

Usage:

1.When done,take your umd out if its in, on your psp's XMB go to the PHOTO menu, scrool down to HEN C and then press start     
  it will either freeze and crash(keep trying, it might take a good few times to work) or flash a colour or two and then
  restart the psp and bring you back to the main, which means HEN has been enabled.

2. After it restarts go to the GAME menu in the XMB s and Choose "PSP Update ver X.YZ".

3.When you enter the program,Wait until its loads, next when Asked, Press X and the downgrade will start(Be VERY carful), when its finished
  you will be asked to Press x to restart.


4.When it restarts an error message will appear, Press O then it will restart again, then enter in your settings and your
  done.
  Your PSP is now a 1.5

Downgrading 2.00 -> 1.50 method

Requires :
----------

- PSP 2.00 (if you have an 1.51 or 1.52, update to 2.00)


Installation :

Step 1: Connect your PSP to computer via USB or insert the MS DuO media into your computer.
Step 2: Put your PSP into USB mode.
Step 3: Run the 2.00 to 1.50 Downgrader program.
Step 4: Select your PSP's Drive.
Step 5: Press Install.
Step 6: Plug in the PSP's AC adapter.
Step 7: On the PSP's XMB, go into your PHOTO menu, this will launch Version Changer.
Step 8: Once again, connect your PSP to computer via USB or insert the MS DuO media into your computer.
Step 9: Check if there is a new file in the root of your memory stick. (this file should be: ms0:/index.dat.bak).
Step 10: Then go to the GAME menu on the XMB and launch 1.50 Update.
Step 11: Follow on-screen instructions and you'll be on your way to 1.50.
