Prole Art Threat
Nom: PAUL S WHISTON [aka MCR]
Location: Here and there
How Long Have You Been A Fall Fan: Since 2002 approx
How Did You Get Into The Fall? A suicidal goth English Student-come-dr who fan manics obsessive turned me on to them while at The University Of Wales, Bangor. I strongly suspect he is dead now but he played his part. (if not David let me know) I wasnt instantly hooked either, its more like a poison slowly working thru your veins... First song that made me take notice was probably Various Times, I guess that and the Rough Trade Singles box acted as port of entry...
Fave Fall Songs: This changes with the seasons... at the minute I am pretty into Sparta FC and I really like Blindness from "later" as best rendering yet. Also Mark 'll Sink Us refuses to leave my brain. But the old classic favs for me will remain The Man Whos Head Expanded and Various Times. BUT a special place goes to L. A. for being the song that got me an Elaine together.
Fave Fall Albums: Also varies... Some weeks its Grotesque, some its Hex, a little while back it was The Marshall Suite. I can tell you my two LEAST favs tho... Are You Are and Kurious Oranj.
Favourite Artists: The Fall, Joy Division, XTC, The Velvet Underground, Hang On The Box, Madness, Slumber Party, Black Flag, Charlie Patton, Smashing Pumpkins, The Kinks, Nirvana, Hole, Nick drake, Adam Ant, Grateful Dead, Magazine, David Bowie, Nick Cave, Billy Childish, Pixies, Captain Beefheart, Johnny Cash, Leadbelly, Neil Young, KaitO, Iggy Pop/Stooges, PIL, Manics... Current favs are Maximo Park... and The Rogers Sisters... Ill shut up now before we run out of space...
Other Interests: Horror films, horror stories, horror comics, staying in and plotting my revenge against this evil world that has shunned me. I also used to write stuff other than shite fall fan comics, but that dont happen so much now... esp slow on recording new music as Im a pretty OK (passable) guitarist... But the world is too evil to hear my songs.

Telephone Thing
Name: Pete Stanley
Location: Where They Used To Make Glass, West Midlands
How long have you been a Fall fan? Probably about 4-5 years, there was
something very amusing about hearing 'Hey There Fuck face' for the first
time, which in turn lead me to a closer inspection.
Fave Fall songs: 'Ludd Gang' for slating Shakin' Stevens, 'Idiot Joy
Showland' for slating Madchester & 'Leave The Capitol' for making me
wake up drunkenly a few years ago in a London Hostel talking in MES
voice to startled friends...
Other favourite artistes: XTC, The Beatles, Pavement, The Clash, Guided
By Voices & R.E.M, oh too many to mention actually.
Other interests: I usually spend most my time talking about music on my
webzine & playing guitar in my band, when not doing either of these I'm
either at work sulking or in the pub talking rubbish about music!
