The Premeire and Only Driving School in Morgantown
Based out of beautiful Morgantown, West Virginia, the PSCI Driving School provides personal-vehicle driving instruction to those interested in learning how to drive or refining their driving skills. Students include teens with learners' permits, adults learning to drive for the first time in the U.S., those with physical disabilities and others. We offer personalized packages to meet your needs that include one-on-one training with a driving instructor at your convenience and class materials that allow for continued education outside the vehicle.
Lessons take place on local roads, highways and interstates and include instruction in all basic driving skills, including parallel parking. Although all classes are conducted in Morgantown, we have worked with students willing to commute with a licensed driver from other West Virginia towns and counties and from Pennsylvania, Maryland and beyond.
Classes
These hands-on lessons are taught in our specially equipped, certified vehicle that has a passenger-side brake to ensure safety every time. We have hand brakes and steering wheel adaptors that are ADA-approved for those students that require them. More information will be included at a later date.
The Driver's Test
Upon course completion, students are escorted to the West Virginia DMV for the state driving test. While PSCI packages include use of the instruction vehicle for the driving test, students may use their own vehicle if preferred. (Please note that if not using instruction vehicle, student will be responsible for having a licensed driver get the student to the testing site with the vehicle that will be used.)
Benefits of PSCI Instruction
Professional driving courses save family members the stress of teaching loved ones how to drive. In addition to learning how to drive, students are elgible for auto insurance discounts. Once students complete the insurance-recognized course and pass the state driver's test, they receive a certificate in the mail that can be submitted to the student's auto insurance company. The extent of the discount depends on the insurance company; so, be sure to discuss this with your insurance company to find out how much you could save.
