The Vice President oversees this committee.
This committee coordinates guest speaker appearances, alerts the chapter to PRSA and FPRA events, fills out thank-you cards for speakers and ensures that speakers have all necessary information (directions, parking pass, etc.) before they come to USF. Members will also be responsible for ensuring that this information reaches the speaker at least one week in advance, and calling the speaker 24 hours in advance to confirm. This committee also coordinates internship fairs and the PRSA Takeover Event for networking with professionals.
The Director of Special Events oversees this committee.
This committee plans and coordinates all social events for the chapter. This includes informal socials and the end-of-year banquet. Members will be responsible for establishing and working with-in a reasonable budget to fund events. Once a social is planned, the committee should work with the Publicity Committee to market the event.The Director of Marketing oversees this committee.
Members of this committee publicize all chapter events through the use of flyers, Oracle advertisements, press releases, fact sheets and backgrounders. Members will also be responsible for updating the PRSSA bulletin board in the lobby of the CIS building.
The "ImPRessions" Editor-In-Chief oversees this committee.
Members brainstorm and write articles for imPRessions, our chapter's newsletter. Can't get your articles published in The Oracle? Build you portfolio by publishing your work with our newsletter. This is a great way to get published prior to graduation.
The Director of Finances oversees this committee.
The committee coordinates fundraising events for the chapter. Past projects have included bake sales, a skydiving raffle, and Toyota of Tampa Bay's Ride Like A Rockstar. Members will also review fundraising suggestions made by other chapter members and either plan or decline the event.
