Now I'm sure most of you have noticed an alarming trend on fanfiction.net lately, and if not, let me enlighten you.
A rather sizeable group of Jonas Brothers fangirls have gotten it into their head that they have the right to start posting stories about the brothers on fanfiction. While this not only is against the guidelines (it specifically says that stories should not include actual people; it even uses musicians as an example!) these fans have also invaded other fandoms to post these stories. They have posted them in the 'A Cinderella Story' section, making it next to impossible to find any stories for that fandom in question. They have also posted in the 'Hannah Montana' section, and while this is more understandable (the brothers guest-starred on an episode), it is still against the TOS.
So it is up to us to stop this fandom invasion and get rid of the Mary-Sue infested fics for good!
Many, many of us have already emailed the mods and reported abuse for the JB stories, but it seems that the admins aren't willing or able to pay attention to us. We have to make them understand that this is a problem. That's where this site comes in.
