This website is still very much under construction, but while it is, why don't you mosey on over to the Facts, Resources, Blog, and External Links pages? You'll find plenty of useful information between them.
Hopefully once everything is up and running, this will go pretty smooth. :)
Also on the agenda- getting people to help in other ways that they can. After all, the trees can't do all the work for us! We'll post easy ways for you to do your part in the blog, weekly.

Project Plant a Tree has the goal to get everybody to plant or sponsor a tree, or donate to a local park. We like to believe that every little bit helps- that's why we also aim to give useful tips on simple ways you can be greener in your every day life.
We are not here to go all "global warming" on everybody, but rather to keep the filth from piling up and preserve the natural beauty around us. We prefer clean air and environments to smog and pollution.
We ask that you help spread the word and help us in any way that you can- such as e-mailing us tips or information you think is useful.
Here's a brief overview of the pages on this website:
Blog- Every week there will be a "go green" tip posted here. It will be something simple and useful for you do be able to help do your part. We will also post site updates, stories from people who help out, questions, and other useful quick things here.
Photos- Once you have planted a tree, or done something eco-friendly, if you take a picture of it and e-mail that to us, we will post your picture here. We will also accept artwork with an eco-theme that you do.
Tree Facts- Every wonder how much oxygen a tree produces? How trees help us? This is where you can learn more about these things.
How To Help- This is where we will post links about how to donate trees or money to parks or organizations devoted to helping the tree population. They are organized by state for the U.S. residents, and once/if we get information for non-U.S. residents, those will be up there as well.
Simple Green- As easy as the title- simple ways to go green. This will provide links to eco-friendly things you may want to use in every day life, and also act as an archive for past "green tips" from the blogs.
Givers- Once a person has done their part by planting a tree or donating money, they may e-mail us their first name and the state(or country for non-U.S. residents) and we will list them on this page.
Resources- These are links to places where we got our tree facts, or green tips.
External Links and Reading- Extra links for you to do more research on trees or going/being more green in easy little ways. Also included: a list of books that you can learn more from.
Contact Us- If you have questions, concerns, comments, ideas, see problems with our site or links on our site, etc., you may use this form to notify us. This is also a simple way to submit your name once you have done your part, if you have no pictures- or if you have a link to a picture you have done(photobucket, flikr, deviantart, etc.).
