FIGHT? | This is a project started by my friends and myself to help raise money to find a cure for HIV/AIDS. We're going to be doing stuff and putting it on ebay - maybe even having some fundraising events for HIV/AIDS awareness. I love that my friends jump on board with me for this. AIDS awareness isn't so prevalent in this country. Lots of people raise money for AIDS in Africa or other countries where it's an epidemic. It's just as much of a problem right here in our own backyards as it is to other countries. I think that we, as Americans, need to do more to make people aware of this disease. |
