Welcome to our website to promote awareness of HIV/AIDS. My name's Jeff and here's my story. | When I was 8 years old, I was riding my bicycle down our neighborhood street and I was hit by a truck. I woke up and I was in the hospital getting blood. I lost seven pints of blood between getting hit and getting to the hospital which was only about 15 blocks away. So they were giving me blood to re-supply my body with the blood it needed to function properly. Fast forward six years. I was getting to where I was tired and sick all the time. I played sports and this was just unacceptable to me, so I went to the doctor. He ran some tests and it turned out I had HIV. Even after six years, it hadn't progressed hardly at all. Today I'm 24 years old. I've lived with this disease for 16 years to date. I have a beautiful girlfriend who I'm going to marry one of these days. I have twin boys from a previous marriage and she has a daughter from a previous relationship. She's pregnant with twin girls. None of the kids have HIV and either does she. But she loves me regardless. I'm very blessed to have tons of friends and family that loves and supports me through everything that I have to go through on a daily basis.
