The standard engine for the Vauhall Carlton Gsi 3000 24v is the 6 cylinder 2969cc dual overhead camshaft, 24 valve alloy cylinder head and dual ram intake system.

From other sources i've found that the cars power as standard is just over 200bhp and has a maximum speed of 149mph with a 0-60 time of just over 7 seconds.!!
Not bad for such a big car!!

Right, I had an engine diagnostic test done the other day and have found out that the faults with it at the minute are:

The Oxygen Sensor: Open Circuit

The engine RPM sensor: No Signal

Other than the two faults above it shows that everything else is fine!!, I am hoping to have the new sensors bought and fitted in the next couple of weeks so hopefully that will cure the stuttering i am getting when accelerating!!!
