Hey everyone, this is Lauren. Right now, I’m the HAPPIEST WOMAN ON EARTH (think Tom Cruise jumping on Oprah’s couch), because I just found out that I will be getting to spend the rest of eternity with my one true love, Ben!!!

Ben has been such an incredible blessing in my life, and I thank God every day for bringing him to me. He was the missing piece to the puzzle, and now with him, I’m complete. I love him so very much, and I can’t wait for us to start this amazing journey together!

I come from a WONDERFUL family that I love more than anything. My parents are Louis & Patrice Tillman, and they are my number one fans and best friends in life. They have always been there for me, loved me unconditionally, and stuck with me through good times and bad. My parents taught me some of the most valuable lessons in life and everything that I’ve got right now, I owe it to them, because without them, I wouldn’t have ever made it this far. My sister and brother are so awesome! They are both way smarter than me, but that’s OK, good for them. Ha ha ha. Jeniffer is going to be a Sophomore in college next year. I love hanging out with my sister, because she is the only one who really gets my jokes. Also, she is truly one of the prettiest and kindest girls that the world will ever know. Louis will be a Junior in high school next year (Big Man on Campus). I am so proud of him, he’s really a great guy and so gifted! He’s really got a bright future ahead of him, and so does Jens. My Nana is SOOOOOO AWESOME!!! She is one of the most kind, intelligent and loving women that I have ever met. She is 82 years old, and she looks much better than most 50 year-olds! She’s amazing. Back home, I have a cat named Harry, who is the coolest cat on the block! Here at school, I have an evil cat named Scooter who attacks everyone he meets. I love him, but he’s a handful. It’s hard explaining all of the scratches on his legs when I go to practice. Ha ha ha. Who knows, hopefully he’ll calm down before the wedding so that he can be the ring bearer (just kidding). Ben’s family is amazing as well! They have really been a blessing to me, because they are my “home away from home.” Everytime I visit, they always make me feel just like part of the family, and I love them for it. Ben’s parents are like a second set of parents to me, and they are always have the perfect advice. I can think back to a lot of times that I wouldn’t have made it without their support and guidance. Ben’s sister Sarah is soooo sweet and awesome! She is like a second sister to me, and one of the only girls that I like hanging out with. I was really happy that she chose to come to Baylor. His brother Josh and his fiancée Kristin are really cool too. One of the coolest members of the family is definitely Ben’s Grandma Honey! She reminds me so much of my own Nana, I can’t wait for those two to meet!
