About Pro Cup Racing
Hi and Welcome to ProCup Racing!!! ProCup Racing is a PS3 NASCAR 09 league owned and run by Death_Planner, yungdough617, and KX250Frippa. Our points race time are still being TBD but could possibly be the Bass Pro time of Sundays at 4:00pm est but it's still to be determined. This league was created when Bass Pro Racing and Mountain Dew Cup Racing (aka Dew Cup) merged. There ia currently no room available in ProCup Racing but if you want to sign up to be on the Alternate List you can e-mail us at procupracing09@aol.com. This league will award a drivers championship at the end of the year after the chase. Also, ProCup Racing will use the constructers (team) championship format from Bass Pro Racing. The best performing team will receive a Team Championship Car. Each manufacturer is represented by at least one team Toyota (Gibbs), Chevy A (RCR), Chevy B (Hendrick), and Ford (Roush-Fenway). The Constructers (Team) Title will be rewarded at the end of the Regular Season (Richmond around the end of April 2009). PC Update:
5/22/2009- There will be a next season for ProCup and SilverFox41089 will be the primary owner for next year. There will be 4 teams next year with 4 driver per team. The teams will be the following with the owner listed Joe Gibbs Racing (Owner: yungdough617), Hendrick Motorsports (Owner: JoeGreene75), Roush-Fenway Racing (Owner: mitchey), Richard Petty Motorsports: (Owner: SilverFox41089). The 2009 PC Draft Test Race will most likely be on Sunday, June 7th at 6:00 pm est. The Draft will be on Sunday June 14th at about 8pm est. Eithier yungdough or SilverFox will messsege everyone and let you know hat team your on. After that you can talk w/ you owner and other teammates and figure out what # you gonna be. The number need to be in by June 17th. The season wont satrt till like July 11th but there will be test races and a Bud Shootout. There are going to be a few rule changes for next season, 1) there will only 1 trade allowed per driver during the whole season the trade deadline will be be determined when the schedule is made, 2) The only way you can make the chase next season is if your in the top ten in the points, if the person with the most wins in ProCup during the regular season isnt locked into the chase, he will be locked in because of having the most wins.
