This is my affirmative step. The one fearless thing that I do at this stage in my life. It's nothing much, may not ever be anything significant but this is the thing that, as Rev. said, says, "God I trust you. Things will be alright."
I'm taking a step, praying...no, trusting, that I won't fall off the edge. I was once fearless. I need to get back to that point. There's nothing for me to be afraid of. Nothing. Nothing to be ashamed of (despite how many times I'm made to feel embarassed by them) because everyone makes mistakes. If I was as worthless as I feel sometimes, if I was as stupid as people say then I doubt that I'd have any reason to still be alive. I've been through the things that I've been through so that at some point I'll be able to say "Believe me, it'll be ok."
No living soul can measure my potential and therefore I can't allow anyone to limit it, or limit me. Maybe now's the time for me to let go of the hurt and of the people and things that cause it. No matter who or what they are. God didn't bring me this far for me to think that I have no purpose. In the words of a great man, "You're going to help people..." Without question I will.

I'd like to dedicate a little part of this site to You. You know who you are. I wanted to say thank you for simply being you. You've been a profound inspiration in my life and for that I'm grateful. Alot has happened since I met you on September 22nd 2003. A whole lot and honestly it can't seem to get any worse at times, but as we know it can always get worse. Likewise, it can always get better. That connection that existed when I first met you is still there and amazingly we haven't killed each other as yet. You've proven to me what true, loyal, undying friendship is...there through it all, right?
