The Place to Be

So, we went to Williamsburg for a Fiesta*Val (yay!) competition, and we did pretty good. But there was soooo much DRAMA. Band drama. Band drama. Choir drama. Boy drama. MORE band drama. MORE more band drama. ARGH! Oh yeah. Did I forget to say Band drama??!  And this one stupid high school, Howard High School, won everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =[ Argh! Buuuut.

So, us being overblown by trumpets in the band competition quickly turned into a woodwind dominated pep band Friday at our basketball game. Oh, Mr. Wright. Why? Why did we do that. Ugh. So, now everyone thinks we...erm. Suck. But, hey. Whatevs...

Anyways, Colonels lost the game by 2 POINTS! ONLY ONE BASKET AWAY. WTFrench TOAST!? ARGH. March Madness my...right toe. >=(

The band sounded a hot mess, however, our surrogate Mr. Wright, Chantal, was quite beasty. ...but, oh, trumpets. Why?

In other news, I auditioned for RYSO, and let me tell you something. I think I did sort of ok. I might have a chance, but...I mean, it was a failure. Not epic. But it didn't exactly go hard either...

...aka single's awareness month ;) is here. This also means practicing for concert band, staring at a fellow band member to the point of just plain creepiness and then looking away if they notice you, and looking forward to spring. This is also the month I am taking the driving test to get my learners =)))) Wish me luck!

So, this isn't this year, but it was last year... last year in the old uniforms,  but my first real year of marching band...my third parade with WFHS, though... I love Vinton, it's never as cold as the Roanoke parade, lol. But...here is last years sexiness.

First place in everything! Go band! ^-^ lol... We're amazing! Competition 25th! We're getting more 1st places in everything, right!? RIGHT!
