Ok well firstly you need to be a shop which costs 150np. To buy it on the side bar click shops then click that like yellow house thing and then create/edit your shop and you will know what to do from there. Ok well now you need to put your items in there. Ok now let's really start this guide. Make sure you have good items like nothing like rotten sandal, kelp and all that stuff. Ok lab maps and faeries are good to sell. So are dubloons and codestones. Ok now you need to make sure there the right price. Go to the shop wizard(click shops on the side bar then click on the wizards hat) then enter the item you have. Just say it's a.... two dubloon coin. Type that in but don't put in any maximum price or minimum. Then just say it came up with 5,000np(not real price) then I would suggest putting it at about 4,500np because people buy the cheapest they can get so make sre your shop is the cheapest.
