Now first off I have been scammed twice so yeah you may think, "Yeah then what would she know" but I have actually learnt a lot. Ok well let's just tell you about the first time I was scammed. I had a GREAT guild with lots of members, I also had great pets, lots of neoppoints and great items then this guy joined my guild. Said, 'I can get you 1,000,000 np so I gave him my password and then he changed it and I couldn't get back in. Now want to know how I got it back? Well I have a couple of accounts and I alerted my guild there not to donate to the donation shop, also I kept begging the scammer to give it back. He said give me that account that I was using so I said yes but give me the password for that account first. So he did and I tricked him but before he gave the account to me he said I wouldn't bother and because I reported my account was hacked he said it was going to get frozen. So I got into the account got out all my items and that and didn't give the hacker my account so I kept in touch with 2 people in my guild and we made a new one and I am going great now. Second time... well I will tell you about that later. Ok now we are going to make sure they don't get into your account. Make sure you have a hard to guess password. Like just say your password was dancing. That would be WAY to easy for the scammer to guess so try something with a mix of numbers or something like 56jiggles_@ now how could anyone guess that. Also make sure you write it down so you don't forget it. And don't forget make sre you have a working email. Ok now comes the best bit. Now have you got a pin number? If not get one. Also when yo do make sure it applys with everything it can. Like pounding pets, shops, bank, email adress. So if someone accesses your account the can't get to your items. Also put your items in your safety deposit box. Because you can get a pin for there aswell. Now if someone does get in there and changes your password they can't change your email adress unless you have a pin so you can quickly get your password sent to you, get into your account and change it back. Ok now here's another type of scam. This is the second way I got scammed. NEVER TRADE ANYWHERE ELSE EXCEPT THE TRADING POST! I may have traded through the trading post but I still got scammed and I will tell you why. A 3 month old account said she would len me FQD for 200k so she told me to bid on her mug so I did and I never got the FQD so I reported her and she got frozen. So if someone is lending the item to you onl bid on the item! You don't want to end up like me. Ok this is the last thing. If people say 'I can hack the neopets server and can get you 1,000,000np if you give me your password' there lying. No one has EVER hacked the neopets sever. That is just another way to get scammed.
