Loosing weight one step at a time

If you are coming across this web site, you must be from 50+  to loose weight watchers message board! I decided to start this web site to inspire others to loose weight and to keep myself accountable. I will keep this site as updated as i can. I will post pics, keep journal blogs, have my pictures posted as i loose weight and have other categories.

I'm just getting started.

Today is December 25th, 2005 and i have been on Weight Watchers for 8 months, i have lost 20+ pounds to date, i started out at the weight of 235 and now i range anywhere between 209 and higher....i haven't struggled with weight all my life, in high school i was healthy and only weighed 160 pounds i was active played a lot of sports, tennis, soccer and softball, i was always a very good student, went to college, dropped out a few times...i only started having problems with weight in 2000 at the age of 21. i gained a lot of weight and reached 223. and then i lost 50 pounds by myself and regained all of that and more within a short range of time.

By April of 2005 i got sick and tired of being very heavy and joined weight watchers.

This program truly changed my life, it made me more healthy more active again and as i started eating more healthy i lost weight slowly but steadily and now instead of being a size 18 W i am a size 16 and getting smaller each day, it's a much slower process doing it this way but much more healthy and this way i'll keep it off for a lifetime.

Recently for the past month i have been at a plato. I am going to start being more strict again and exercise again much more to overcome this plato.

I will take it one day at a time. I am going to post different pics of mine, add a journal blog, links and a guestbook...it will take me a few days ...so please bare with me...:)
