A Petition To:
The Citizens of the City of Philadelphia, Surrounding Suburban Townships, and Interested Citizens of the United States.
We can keep our hospital/s opened and operating for our Healthcare!
Whereas: Our community needs high quality healthcare and;
Whereas: Citizen Cooperative Direct Ownership of our Healthcare Institutions operating under a Wellness Advancement Mandate is the Quality Healthcare Answer functioning as a Community Healthcare Institutional Guardian and;
Whereas: The State Agency has closed and sold the Woman’s Medical College Hospital of Pennsylvania (WMCH PA)/MCP located at 3300 Henry Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19129 (East Falls Section of Philadelphia) a health care ICON with 153/158 years of service to our community and;
Whereas: Tenet Corporation has announced the closing of Roxborough Memorial; Graduate; and Warminister Hospitals, which is threatening to eliminate thousands of jobs in the region which is affecting the economic conditions and well-being of hard working people and;
Whereas: The closing of these medical institutions will cost the lives of some of our loves ones;
Therefore: The Philadelphia Regional Healthcare (PRH) Cooperative Hospital, Inc. developed by the Resident’s Coalition Taskforce hereby calls upon the Citizens to subscribe for membership in the COMMUNITY HEALTHCARE COOPERATIVE HOSPITAL which is a positive solution to obtain quality healthcare for our families and;
Whereas: The Resident’s Coalition Taskforce, Ralph Wynder, Chairman, along with the advocacy organizations that have joined in representing the hospital effort: The Community Rebirth Organization Plan (CROP™) Action Team; The Center for Economic and Social Justice (CESJ); The Association to Save MCP; The Foundation For Woman’s Medical Hospital/MCP; North Penn Civic Association; The Harmonious Volunteer Center; East Parkside Resident’s Association; The United Block Captain’s Association; and the Philadelphia Regional Healthcare (PRH) Cooperative Hospital, Inc. request that our citizens take action by contacting, The Philadelphia Regional Healthcare (PRH)Cooperative Hospital, Inc. – 2801 North 29th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19132 and that you become a cooperative member of this initiative IMMEDIATELY.Click Here To Subscribe Now Telephone numbers are (215) 227-3622 or (215) 227-3635.
