About Torii

After participating in the production of Macbeth last year, Kyle McElroy wanted me to help him with a project this year, this time for FRC 102 - Nature and Culture with Dr. Johnston (not to be confused with Dr. Aronoff, who Darth Moby: Hunt for the White Sith was made for). It was done close to the last minute, but was completed within 24 hours from the first frame of film shot to the last one edited.

Torii, which was shot under the working title of Lotus (that lasted for all of eight hours), has slightly higher values than Macbeth did. Acting is a step up, as is the cinematography, though very little regard was put into the costumes. In short, it was another quick, fun piece to do that was a welcome break after the large UCF: Toronto Cybercide.
