Key Pixel

"Key Pixel Gathering of Filmers" (formerly "Southern Ontario, Upstate New York Gathering of Filmers") is the term I coined to describe the group of people that worked on iSpy. Production companies involved included Prim and Proper Productions, Press Enter Productions, Writer's Block Media, DaS Entertainment (now defunct), and New Eye View. Obviously, this list gets a bit unwieldy, so I decided to get an over-name to encompass all of us. What follows are the list of members of Key Pixel and the individual production companies they're a part of arranged by the date they've worked with members of Key Pixel starting in August with Lost Soul, as well as a subsequent listing of Key Pixel projects.

Justin Monk: Prim and Proper Productions
Sylvia Andreae: Phispace
Andrew Hookway: Press Enter Productions
Bryan Patrick Stoyle: New Eye View
Laszlo Kovacs: Writer's Block Media
Steve White: Spiffy Productions
Stephanie Nickel: @designs

Mission Statement

Key Pixel Gathering of Filmers is a collaboration of independent film studios working together to produce movies for the entertainment of the public. Though Key Pixel was once known by the mouthful title of Southern Ontario, Upstate New York Gathering of Filmers, we have accepted more studios outside of that rather limited definition, expanding our geographical base and with it, our horizons. Key Pixel works with the current trends of technology; though today we might utilize MiniDV and a certain piece of editing software, we are ready for the evolving nature of our craft. Key Pixel Gathering of Filmers is devoted to producing the highest quality of entertainment on a fixed budget, and pioneering creative methods to use that which is already available to us is our primary goal. This attitude might make us potentially attractive for those who wish something to be done but do not have an expansive budget; because we work with what the client has and no extra supplies, prices can be cut drastically. Our second goal is to pioneer the Gathering of Filmers concept to make it more readily accepted among independent studios worldwide, so that they, too, can come together to work effectively and yet retain their own flavor. Because of this, Key Pixel Gathering of Filmers is truly unlocking the potential of the world, one film at a time.

Key Pixel Projects

This list of projects is retroactive, taking in films that were done without the Key Pixel Gathering of Filmers tag. I will begin marking them from when I first started working with Justin, back in August of 2004.
