STAR WARS: End of the Order

STAR WARS: End of the Order began as a lightsaber duel between Andrew Hookway and Nathan Vogt immediately after the release of STAR WARS: Episode II: Attack of the Clones in 2002. Written over the course of that summer, the script went through numerous revisions until production started in 2005. In 2006, it was decided that it would become a fan audio drama instead of a film, then that it would be cancelled due to lack of infrastructure and, frankly, a quality screenplay.

A copy of the screenplay is available upon request.

5.28.08: Consolation Prize

End of the Order was folded into the Key Pixel compilation film Broken Worlds last year. It is a mock trailer incorporating footage from four different incomplete fanfilms (Lost Soul, a second attempt at that film, Tortured Soul (a spin-off of the second attempt), and End of the Order) (an unrelated film that happened to share the same actors).

As an accompaniment, I finally finished the visual effects on what is probably the film's most unique piece, the cargo hold lightsaber duel.

8.25.06: Cancelled

It is with some regret that I must announce the cancellation of End of the Order. It was my first screenplay, has gotten me far, but in the end will not hold its own as a film without a complete rewrite- something that I am not inclined to do.

Anyone wishing to see the screenplay is welcome to.

1.27.06: New Medium

I regret to say that End of the Order will no longer be created in its original form. I lack the resources to give it proper vision. Instead, it will be an audio drama. This enables me to work with more people, and I'm positive that the strength of the script will carry us through.

Anything previously filmed will be released in its current state.
