2008 Litters

My herd is a continual work in progress. Right now I am concentrating on good color pattern and mustaches in my broken lines. I am working with others to help create a very nice red line...no cream/white bellies and oranges with very little smut. On my COD colors, I am working on consistency and working on locking in Sr. manes. I am trying to get rid of all the "angora" woolies in my lines.

Legendary Donatello Harez from Heaven's Snowbird

DQ/fault - no rollback Nice mane but could be denser

I bred Donatello to Snowbird for her nice rollback and longer foreleg to offset Donatello's. All kits' saddles are looking good so far. The Siamese Sable kit seems to have Donatello's shorter forelegs. All have nice bone, nice type and look like they will have clean faces and ears. Manes are just now starting to sprout around ears.

Grew back some mane but needs more, F1 Lionlop

needs longer foreleg. Very nice otherwise! Excellent, excellent mother and foster mom

Very consistent color and mustache producer!

I am working Hollands into my brokens so I can lock in that beautiful Holland broken saddle pattern with big mustaches!

Plus, I love the temperment, bone, head, rounded ear and no pin bones of the Holland. Manes will be worked on after I have locked the color pattern.

Legendary Donatello RBB's Gwen

No rollback Nice rollback but a larger doe

Gwen's mom is RBB's Mocha, a siamese sable, so am hoping to get some winning kits as both parents have winning lines and hoping Donatello's tiny ears will help gwen's longer ears.

Legendary Donatello SP's Roman Isis

No rollback Nice rollback

Both have nice type, nice thick clean short ears. Isis has the longer foreleg Donatello needs.

Both small and compact.

Their whole litter of 4 were all frozen but one which was barely moving. I warmed it up and fed it warm milk and it has survived and doing great!

This litter is a good study of heads/muzzles and the shades of black tort. The light clean tort has a very small chiseled muzzle....see pic on right.

Watching this litterAll have nice type and bone. Some have little mane coming in, so ears look larger.Would like to see more width between eyes and in muzzle on some of them. Most will be pet quality. First 3 could grow into something promising.

We lost one in this litter. Mom kept biting the same kit every time it nursed until she finally gave a fatal bite to the spine.

Coming along nicely despite a rough start! Will be pushing it to make weight by Nationals.

Sad news on this litter...lost this beautifullittle thing on 03/20/08. I was trying to get her to drink from dish but she wouldn't. I had to keep feeding her by syringe and she gulped down her feeding and I put her back in the tub and went to go get pellets for them and came back and she was dead. I think she drank so fast she got some in her lungs. I was sooo upset.

The broken blue tort will be so prety with those solid ears and mustache,

and solid white body (there is a very thin stripe down spine)
