SENECA PRIDE RABBITRY ARBA#X563 | Exceptional Lionheads, Holland Lops and English Lops

I am stuck on brokens! Will pull a COV on them when the breed passes.

Brokens are my passion. They are the ones that sell the fastest in my rabbitry. Kids and adults seem to love the brokens first. I have decided I am going to be working mostly with the saddle blanket pattern rather than the spotted pattern. I get too many brokens with just the eye circles, ear color and the stripe down the spine in these breedings. They are nice but not what I want personally in my herd. I love the saddle blankets! Since these brokens are very limited in lionheads, I have incorporated the Holland into my lines to get this pattern. I not only think the Holland will add the pattern I want but will also pass on its loveable personality and nice head and nice body that will cover up those pin bones notorious to the Lionhead in many lines. I have many Holland hybrids now and should be getting some awesome consistent patterns soon. Most mine are F1s and F2s right now and hopefully I will have some saddle blanket patterned Purebred Double manes by next year (2009). I am really excited about this Holland venture and feel it has added alot of needed aspects to my broken Lionheads. I almost always do broken X broken to get the most brokens. I have almost never gotten any Charlies this way. I will continue to breed broken X broken, except for my solid Holland hybrids that come from a broken parent and heavy maned PB DM solids I want to use to bring in more mane. The holland hybrid tends to keep a mane as it does carry a wool gene while the Netherland crosses almost always lose mane as Srs. Any questions on brokens, email me senecapriderabbitry2004@yahoo.com
