I have been accused by Cheryl Coleman of Grammy's Critter Ranch of stealing a pic from her website when it is she who has stolen my picture and has used it since last year (2007)to sell her kits. I tried being very kind in the beginning emails to her and asked her politely to remove it as i know this breeder has had "life issues" but after repeated requests to remove it, she still refuses to take it off even after the "supposed" litter is older and gone....????. She still to this day claims it is her pic and has posted a lie that she lost the original photo on some broken laptop. If you look at any or all my kit pics, you will always see a solid background and if you look at all her pics on her site, Cheryl's pics always have "cluttered" backgrounds with no backdrop. This woman is a fraud! I still cannot believe she wants to drag this out by not taking it off her site. She can give all the sob stories about her life all she wants, but when it comes down to "actual proof"...here it is!! She stole MY pic and here is the uncropped version of it plus other pics from that very same sitting with the exact same kits in them as proof. I have plenty more on my hard drive. She has used this pic of mine to sell HER litters. Any normal breeder wouldn't want anything negative posted about their rabbitry and would of taken the pic off their site on the first request. I hurts me to have to do this this to anyone but this is what it has come down to. None of this can be considered slanderous because it is all true and I have the proof and she doesn't. I wish this breeder no ill will at all, as I enjoyed her emails before I found my pic on her site and I will delete this page instantly when I have found she has removed my pic off her website. It's just a shame she does this. I have spent many hours searching within 150 miles of me to find a lawyer who would handle fraud and copyright infringement but cannot find one, so I am dealing with it in this way, in case someone else goes through this. The original looked all washed out like this one from the Another pic I darkened from the exact same sitting
same sitting and I darkened the original of the stolen pic just to show that I DO have other pics of them.
above this pic so you could see it better and compare it to
the "stolen" one beside it.
This is not the same pic as the one above but is the same kits.
I have used the "supposedly stolen" pic, above top right, to show many breeders the difference in a blue tort and a black tort.
I have it posted on our NE Lionhead Rabbit Club sight for this purpose.
I will not be accused of stealing my own pic!
I hope to get in the courts hands just to prove a point if I find a lawyer!
I do not mind someone using my pics in an educational way or to just show someone....BUT for another breeder to use them to sell THEIR litter is just plain.......
