Welcome To Our Online Ministry

We have created this web site to tell people about our ministry.  We want to give kids the hope and encouragement that they need to recover from a serious illness or separation from family.  We hope to encourage children to pray about their situation by giving them each a pink or blue pajama clad teddy bear called a "Prayer Bear".  We have already put smiles on kids faces and we hope that every child that receives one of our Prayer Bears feels a little more hopeful during their trying time.  We ask that you pray for our mission and the kids.

Our Mission:

Our mission is to send a Prayer Bear to every child in need of prayers and to help raise funds for the American Cancer Society.  We have already begun our quest to send Prayer Bears to children's hospitals.   In addition, we have started to hand out Prayer Bears to police officers and children's services to help comfort kids that have been separated from their families.

Our Motto

The Power of Prayer

According to AllAboutPrayer.org "The Word of God is full of accounts describing the power of prayer in various situations. The power of prayer has overcome enemies (Psalm 6:9-10), conquered death (2 Kings 4:3-36), brought healing (James 5:14-15), and defeated demons (Mark 9:29). God, through prayer, opens eyes, changes hearts, heals wounds, and grants wisdom (James 1:5). The power of prayer should never be underestimated because it draws on the glory and might of the infinitely powerful God of the universe! Daniel 4:35 proclaims, "All the peoples of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth. No one can hold back his hand or say to him: 'What have you done?'"

Our Inspiration

What inspired us to do this?  We are big fans of the hit TV series "Extreme Makeover-The Home Edition" and in a recent episode an eight year old girl, struck twice with cancer, wanted to help comfort other ill kids by purchasing stuffed animals.  She delivered the toys to the same children's hospital that treated her.  When we saw what she did it was then that we knew what we needed to do to serve God and others!  We then decided that the Prayer Bears might just bring hope to other deserving children.
