hi all sorry. The Prattens carnival club set up is unique in carnival. All the assets from the carnival club now belong to the social club as historically the carnival club was born as a subsection of the social club.

Probably for most of you this news isn't a surprise but for others it would probably will be, after 29 years performing in the somerset county guy fawkes carnivals it is with sad regret that members of Prattens Carnival Club has decided to fold through not enough members and though the members have other comitments.

Prattens 2005 entry was in loving memory of Roy Atkins life and founder member who sadly passed away at the beginning of September 2005, he will be sadly missed.

Welcome to the Prattens Carnival Clubs Website.

We are Prattens carnival club, a club based in Midsomer-Norton somerset, who take part in 8 carnivals in somerset, Bridgwater (The biggest Illuminated Carnival in the World), North petherton, Burnham on sea, Shepton mallet, Midsomer-Norton, Wells, Glastonbury and Weston-super-mare.

For these carnivals we produce a float every year which is built in Midsomer-Norton and is based around a different theme every year and involves lots of lights, music, movement and dancing.

The club was formed in 1979 in the Prattens sports and social club, Misomer-Norton.
