Get Ready for... An adventure of knowledge and truth in

The Scriptures are our guidebook for life.  Our Heavenly Father left His word for us to learn and live by. 

But....

How many of us really read it daily?   Do we just read it, or do we study it? 

Do we learn for ourselves what it says and means or do we accept someone else's opinion?  

These are very important questions!  Our eternal salvation depends on what we know!

Our Heavenly Father left every instruction we will ever need to ensure we live our lives righteously, by His standards, inside The Scriptures. 

Please ponder these facts for a moment:

• Because of your sins, you are sentenced to death.
• You cannot pay that penalty without losing eternal life, because if you died for your sins, you could not resurrect yourself.  You would be dead forever.
• You owe something that you cannot pay!

This is true for every person on the face of this Earth!

Romans 3:23

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of The Heavenly Father;

But, along comes a friend, Our Messiah, and says, "I will pay.  I will die in your place and give you credit for it.  You will not have to die for your sins."

We quickly accept.  But then we wonder what we could do to show appreciation for this most precious gift.  Though we could never pay a price that would equal the gift He gave.  His life!

"The only thing I would ask in return is for you to love Our Heavenly Father with all your heart, mind and soul that you too may gain eternal life."  He replies. 

"It's a deal!   I love Him!  That's all there is to it?" we ask eagerly.

He replies, "Yes, and Our Heavenly Father even left directions for us on how to love Him!"
