There are many places I have visited, but none so pretty as the desert. It has a calling to your heart that begs you to look at it just a little closer. To see the life that dwells in it.I used to be like most people and say that it was; brown flat and, ugly. Then one day when given the chance ,to sit in the cool of the morning I heard it calling to my heart. Far beyond  my eyes, I could see the life that dwelled  there. I could see & feel the purpose each little plant, had no matter how insignificant as it might seem at the time. I then saw the life of the other things around start to move in rhythm with each other. Not unlike a hermit living a life of solitude, the desert serves a purpose unknown to many, understood by few, enjoyed by only the Divinity that created it and those to whom entrust themselves to open their hearts to the Divine!
