My Adelphia Horror Story: 5/17/02 I tried calling on the phone several times. I always get the same story that the network is down in my area and they are working on it. At the beginning of 2002, I added up all the time Adelphia Powerlink internet access was down, and I figured that Adelphia owed me almost $200. I emailed Adelphia Support looking for a refund. They did not respond. I sent a letter to Adelphia's Main Offices requesting a repair on my connection or a refund. They did not respond. I called Adelphia Support to cancel my Powerlink Service and they refused to do so at that moment. I then sent another letter to Adelphia demanding an immediate response to my internet connectivity issues or a refund on the time the internet connection was down over the past year. They still have not responded to a single attempt I have made to contact them. My final act was to stop paying my bill until Adelphia had the common business decency (which they lack) to respond to my numerous inquiries. For their lack of common decency and business acumen, I salute Adelphia Powerlink the best way I know how:
