THE HIGHSTREET WEB
(Various sites pay 2p - 4p per visit)
Type an item in the search box i.e. Freezer.
Click the grey 'Search the Web' button.
Click on 1 of the merchants website links i.e. Bootskitchenappliances.com.
Highstreet Web monitor IP addresses and restrict the amount that can be earned per day. It has stopped tracking for me a few times and has stated I'm not based in the UK i.e. picks my IP address up as being foreign; when this happens I stop using it for a few days and it seems to sort itself out.
Delete cookies in-between visits. (Tools, Internet Options, Delete, Delete cookies).
Set up a free email account i.e. Hotmail or Yahoo and use this purely for joining cashback sites. (It is not necessary to set up a separate email account if you don't want to. I divert junk emails to junk folder so it doesn't bother me and any newsletters I have signed up to I have been able to cancel once I have had the money confirmed without any problems).
Sign up for a free Paypal account (Paypal charge 3.4% plus 20p on payments received - some cashback sites pay this fee, others don't) or set up a new bank account just for internet transactions. (So you can treat yourself instead of your clicking money going on every day expenses).
Apply for a free sim card (T.Mobile - get £1 cashback from Topcashback) so your landline/mobile phone isn't bombarded with phone calls/text messages. Some offers won't confirm though if the merchant isn't able to contact you.
Some sites allow more than 1 account per household / IP address, so it’s worth yourself and another member of your household each having an account and clicking separate times of the day. Check cashback sites FAQs section.
There is no limit to how many sites that you can join.
If you have a powerful computer and use broadband to access the internet then keep all windows open as you click to save time. Close all windows once you have finished doing all the clicks on that site. Otherwise do the clicks one at a time i.e. open, search, close.
Click a page on the advertisers/retailers website to make sure your click tracks successfully. Increases the chances of the retailer continuing to use cashback sites to advertise.
If performing numerous searches ensure that you search for different things and don't target the same retailers.
Set yourself a target i.e. £200 for spending money on holiday, £375 to pay for all Xmas presents etc to keep you motivated and on track.
