defeated by Chris Masters, Masters walks up the ramp triampant over his victory,
Benoit lays motionless in the middle of the ring Wondering how he lost to
Masters, Masters suddenly disappears out of sight, and Metal closes for one
week. Chris is seen backstage after the match as Nitro starts, A Few fans of his run up to him and ask a few questions along with items from the Advertising Stands around the arena! Benoit fails to acknowledge these as he walks straight on into His dressing room where he enters with a bang, Slamming the door right behind him and going over to his Glass mirror! Looking himself in the eye Benoit starts to mumble under his breath. -> Benoit <- What was I thinking? This Chris benoit isn't the Chris benoit that dominated the WWE, The WCW. Chris Masters the new kid, beats benoit I can see it now! Benoit is past it, Benoit cant wrestle, well ive got some more news for everybody out there, I Will and i Guarantee that i will be back next week to finish off what ive started this week, Chris, this wont be the last time you hear of me boy.. Benoit Smashes the mirror in front of him and turns around walking over to the door, Opening it and the scene cuts for the opening of Nitro! -> Nitro <- Nitro opened with a great match between Randy Orton Edge and JBL in a triple thread Non titled match, Randy orton overcame the odds and defeated both Wrestlers and gets a European title shot next week against Edge. Also another fierce rivalary In the making see's Kurt angle losing the Christian in what was an Unbelievable contest which could have gone either way, But after that we Saw Rob Van Dam being the victim of Chris jericho and christian at the back lobby, But Rob and Alfonso replied well by officially announcing that Rob Will team up with Chris benoit to face Victim C next week for the Tag team Championship! Victim C Were described to be "shocked at the bombshell just dropped" later on in the match Triple H managed to defeat the already shocked Chris Jericho and the Rock to earn himself a number one contenders spot next week. -> After The Show <- At the end of nitro Rob Van Dam decided to talk to Benoit about the Tag Team title opportunity they have next week, rob decides to enter Benoits Room, but nobody's there, Rob looks around at the broken state of the mirrow, rob sits down waiting for him to enter... Alfonso enters the room just after Rob and the two have a chat. -> Rob <- Ite Fonso, glad to see you could make it, I Dont know what the hell has happened here, but When Benoit comes back i need a little chat with him, Next weeks match against Christian and Jericho is the first Tag Title i could win here in the WWA and i dont want that Jeopardising because of Benoits rage here tonight after losing the masters, I can see by the state of the room that hes not in the best of moods.. the shattered glass all over the place. -> Alonfonso <- Benoit wont let you
down rob, hes a talent in his own right, Jericho and Christian wont know whats
hit them, Masters tonight got lucky i saw the match from out at ringside it was
a mockery to the WWA Watching Chris lose like he did, but i do hope he gets in
the Right frame of mind for next weeks Title match, Because it could be the best
chance of a title yet Rob, with the backing of Benoit you could lift the title
above your head and become the star of the show, Pin the Champ Rob! prove that
your after Jericho! As Alfonso Finishes his sentence Benoit steps in the room with the door already open he looks around at the glass, and the state he left it in earlier and looked down at Rob who stands up straight away to welcome Benoit. -> Benoit <- I Heard your little speech about Rob pinning Jericho, well Im sorry Alfonso, but if ive got anything to do with that I will Defeat and pin Jericho 1...2...3 . or even better, Make Him Tap! I Will be ready for the match and i will put 100% into this, Because Benoit wants justice of his defeat tonight, and i see Jericho my next Victim, and Masters hasn't seen the last of me. Chris Benoit throws his bag in the corner as Alfonso Stands stood shocked at Benoit's Arrival, as Rob Van Dam Smirks at the comment made by Benoit and taps him on the shoulder. -> Rob <- Thats what i like to hear Benoit, I Want a wrestler in my corner completed focused on the task at hand, and if im going to be honest i dont really give a damn who pins Jericho as long as take both of them down together in style and show the fans that Rob Van Dam and Chris Benoit mean business, You said last week Chris that you wanted and Demanded respect through-out the company, Well Lets see if you deserve that next week! -> Benoit <- Rob, I can the pair of us making a good tag team, i can see we both have the same ambitions for the federation and we both want glory and respect, I cant see us losing this one. Rob Van Dam Laughs yet again, In confidence of benoit being in a fit state for the match. As Rob Van Dam and Alfonso quickly leave the room with Benoit in there on his own. Just seconds later an interviewer comes running into Benoits room huffing and panting trying to get his words out but at the same time struggling with breath.
-> Interviewer <- Benoit.. Chris, Ive just heard Masters talking about your match earlier, he was running his mouth off about how he defeated you convincingly, I Think Joey Styles was the one interviewing him, Im not s.... -> Benoit <- Let me cut you
off right there kid, Let me tell you one thing, You listening? Chris Masters may
have beaten me tonight, He may have pinned me 1...2...3, But this is not
over, as for him shouting and running his mouth off about him "Convincingly"
beating me, He can think and talk again, I Was rusty, ill admit, its the first
time ive been in a wrestling ring for over 4 weeks, Did anbody actually expect
me to go out there and perform to my best ability, That takes time Kid, Time
that Benoit has, You see masters may have the upper hand now, But ill make you a
promise.. -> Interviewer <- Well Chris, Im sure Masters will be aware of that Threat, but what is the actual likely hood of you getting a rematch against Masters? Your now set up with RVD and Battling for the Tag Team Titles, And Masters is back in the hunt for a title, in the form of the hardcore championship. -> Benoit <- We'll see wont we? If the WWA want entertainment, they will put me back into a ring with Chris Masters, and ill show the thousands, In fact ..... Millions of fans out there who the Real Benoit is! -> Interviewer <- Well when i was in there, Masters wasnt only talking about his victory, Rob Van Dam was the talk of one of the topics as Masters described Rob as a Loser and that the pair of you had no chance what so ever of Winning the tag titles off the Two Canadians, Chris Jericho and Christian, As he surprisingly came out with several Respectful comments towards the two and has the full confidence in Vitamin C to defeat you both Sunday Night on Nitro, What have you got to say to that Benoit!? -> Benoit <- Haha, What the
hell do you want me to say? hey? Well I totally agree with Masters "I think
Jericho and Christian have what it takes.." -> Interviewer <- But.. Jericho? the world champion, Confidence and Belief isnt going to get you through this match, not in a million years, Hes proved himself around the world to be one of the greatest wrestlers Ever known, And as the First EVER WWA Champion, Hes going to be on top of the World. -> Benoit <- Did i say i was going to let the Belief and Confidence get us through this match, The matter of the fact is, Jericho is the world champion, Jericho is at this moment the best wrestler in the WWA, But im going to change that, Next week, Jericho is going to feel the anger i have boiling inside, waiting to be released, like a moth to a flame, I Will, Defeat Jericho, We Will, Defeat Vitamin C and be the WWA Tag Team Champions! Benoit Walks off as the interviewer talks amongst himself and the camera crew as the scene cuts.
