The Berlengas archipelago is a group of very small islands off the Portuguese coast near the city of Peniche.

You can find an ancient fort and lighthouse in Berlenga Grande.

The archipelago has no permanent population. The fort is now partially converted into a resthouse. A reservation area, it is only visited by scientists are a few tourists in the summer.
