The clubhouse is located 1mile north of Port Matilda on route 220,
just minutes from State College, and is available for rental.

IT'S TURKEY SHOOT TIME AGAIN!!!!

JOIN US EVERY WEDNESDAY EVE TO SHOOT FOR TURKEYS AND OTHER PRIZES

AT THE CLUB, 7:30 P.M.

You may fire any shotgun which is not modified.

We supply the shells! $1.00/round

Sign in after 7 p.m. No price increase this year!

NEW! SHOOTING OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUTH

.22 Cal. SHOOTING CLUB

All young shooters, ages 8-17, will learn to shoot safely and effectively. The first activity is .22 cal bird shoot for prizes beginning 23 September, 7:30 p.m. This event mirrors the turkey shoot for adults.

All shooters must be accompanied by an adult. Shooting Club membership fee ($5.00) includes membership in Port Matilda Sportsmens Assoc. for one year. Join now and your membership expires 1 January 2011.

From the President

GREETINGS to all our friends. Well, we made it, another year with the doors ‘OPEN’. It’s a struggle. I need you to come out to participate in planning and conducting activities. Call me to see how you can help. 867-4263.

A few of your fellow members are working hard to improve our fiscal posture. All donations are gladly accepted. Mail a check to PO Box 35, Port Matilda, PA 16870.

This organization is dedicated to preserving our environment and youth education. I need your energy and ideas to be successful in this endeavor. We have some exceptionally high energy volunteers in place now.

We conducted a very successful recruiting drive last year in which we gained a new VP, a board member and several teenage boys.
