The Vics got back on track with a 5-3 away win against Rothes A. The goalscorers were Neil Mair, Graham McLean, Tony Greig, Mark McIntosh & Daniel Cormack. This result, along with Aberlour losing at Portsoy, means we are 2 points clear of second place Bishopmill Villa at the top of the league with 6 games remaining. Although Aberlour, who are third, do have a game in hand. Next up for the Vics is the quarter final of the WJ Tewnion Cup away to St Marnans.

About Us

This is the unofficial site of Portgordon Victoria (there isn’t an official one). We are a football team made up of players from in and around Buckie (The Sloch). The club was formed in 2006 and is now entering its fourth season in the welfare. The Vics are managed by Alfie Morrison and Dennis Clark, who have both been successful managers in the Junior leagues in the past. They are assisted by David Leslie and Peter Gordon as Coaches, who when they are at home give up a lot of their own time to take training etc. The team was initially called Buckie Victoria, but as Merson Park is booked over the summer by the Buckie Boys Club an alternative home ground had to be found. Fortunately Gordon Park, Portgordon was made available with the provision that "Portgordon" was incorporated within the clubs name. In the clubs debut season they respectable 5th place finish, the Vics made remarkable progress by finishing second and gaining promotion to the Premier Division and also reaching the final of the W.J Tewnion Trophy, only to lose out to rivals Buckie United. The Vics had a successful debut season in the Premier League, finishing 3rd and once again reaching the W.J Tewnion Trophy final, but once again lost, on this occasion on penalties.
