 Head Coach/Offensive Line

Second-year head coach Teemu Niemela began his playing career in 1990 for the Pori Bears.  In his seventeen-year playing career, he has also played for the East City Giants, the Turku Trojans, and the Sea City Storm.  He played in the East-West Bowl (SAJL All-Star Game) in 2000 and 2005.  His first coaching-stint was in 1993 when he coached the Pori Bears ladies' team.  From 2001-2005, he was an assistant coach for the bears and the head coach of the bears junior teams.  In 2006, his first season as head coach of the bears, he was named offensive coordinator of the West squad in the East-West Bowl.
