Welcome to the home page for POPSICLE RACER.
Popsicle racer is a web site dedicated to the construction and racing of slot cars from popsicle or lolly sticks. The popsicle car was the brainchild of Al Penrose of BWA wheels in Canada and is a very simple way of scratch building a slot car.Last year Al kindly sponsored the worlds first ever popsicle car race which took place at Pendle Scalextric Club in the UK and was run and orginised by Graham Windle .
The event will take place again later in 2003 and this web site will help you with your building and provide details of rules and entry when finalised .
So keep coming back and having a look, but in the mean time heres a few pics to wet your appetite
