Ian [the saints says...
]

good quiz again last night and thank you for doing the Clem Cattini round - even though I screwed up the bOnus question, Im blaming Give us a chance for that one , they dragged us down to their level!

another suggestion is for 10 songs featuring the voice of Tony Burrows [Brotherhood of man, White Plains etc] cheers

]

Thanks Ian.....if you had got the bonus right, you wouldn't have got in the draw.....!

Will definitely do a Tony Burrows round at some point.....I know he appeared on the same edition of Top of the Pops fronting 3 different groups....fact!

Hi Mick

good quiz last night , although I found it a diificult one with Glastonbury etc

some suggestions for future rounds

B sides of big hits? beatles/stones etc

clem Cattini and any of the 52 number 1 hits he drummed on , and probably some of the lesser hits as well

and from a parochial perspective , hits including names of London UndergounD  stations

Hi Ian...thanks for your suggestions....will definitely do one soon...we have done a tube stations round before....didn't realise Clem Cattini had been on that many hits....

a friend of mine, Dave Barber knows him and has some info on his site

about Clem..www.coda-uk.co.uk/clem_cattini.htm

regards, Mick

I was surprised at the good turnout on thursday considering the weather.....great atmosphere - as always. Cheers Mick, see you next week

Cheers...I was surprised too on such a poor night...25 teams and nearly a hundred people...can't be bad...

do you only do a quiz in St Albans?

At the moment, but due to popular demand a new Sunday night music quiz will be starting at a great venue in Hertford very soon....details to follow..

Hi Mick

Remember me? I used to come with Rasher - I moved to Northampton a year ago but you guys are far from forgotten. I'm thinking of moving back down south after I've graduated in 2010 so you never know...

Happy New Year

Chris

Hi Chris...Happy New Year....hope you are well......Rasher still comes along to the quiz...he won nearly £100 a few weeks back...on his own! Hope to see you down the quiz sometime soon

Mick
