Each frame has moulding 1 1/2 inches wide. The rebate on each frame is 1/4 inch wide and 1/2 inch deep with plenty of room for the embroidery, backing board, and glass, if desired.
Frames are handmade in our workshop of pine and finished with a hand-rubbed, wax finish that gives a durable satin look and feel.
EVERY FRAME IS UNIQUE - NO TWO FRAMES WILL EVER BE EXACTLY ALIKE IN FINISH.
Frames are sold in pairs of sides in half inch increments so that you may frame any size embroidery.
Measure the finished, mounted embroidery - top and side.Order that combination of sizes. We will allow approximately one eigth of an inch extra to fit your work easily into the frame.
When your frame arrives you will set in your mounted embroidery, place cardboard on the back (if you wish) and attach the work to the frame with a few small nails placed into the sides of the rebate. Add a hanger of your choice and your embroidery or picture is framed!
Fractional sizes other than half inches are available as custom orders. SPECIAL COLORS are possible too! Tell us what you want and we will make it. Click on the custom order button below to let us know what you need.
Frames do not include glass. backing board, hanger, or nails. Each Frame is handmade and hand-finished by us for you. Please allow two to three weeks for delivery - though as soon as it is ready it will be sent off to you!
