WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT
Simba's father Mufasa, the king of the Pride Lands, is murdered by his own brother and Simba's uncle, Scar, who then convinces Simba that Mufasa's death was Simba's fault and encourages the young cub into self-imposed exile ("Run away, Simba. Run... Run away and never return."). Scar reports Mufasa's and Simba's "accidental" death to the pride, believing the cub to have been killed by his vicious hyena henchmen. He becomes king and his hyenas overrun the Pride Lands.
Simba escapes from the hyenas but collapses, exhausted, in the desert. The young cub is saved and befriended by Timon and Pumbaa (a meerkat and warthog respectively). After growing up with the pair, the adult Simba encounters his childhood friend, a formidable lioness named Nala, who has fled Scar's dictatorial rule to seek help. She urges Simba to return to the Pride Lands and retake his rightful throne, but he refuses, still traumatized by the false belief that he caused his father's death. After Rafiki the witch-doctor mandrill shows Simba that Mufasa's spirit still lives on inside him, Simba goes back home. His return inspires the lionesses of the pride to rise up against the hyenas; Simba defeats his evil uncle in combat – but not before Scar reveals to all that it was in fact he who killed Mufasa – and reclaims his kingdom. The film concludes with the birth of Simba and Nala's cub.

CHARACTERS
WHAT IT'S ABOUT
The film's basic idea - an animated romantic musical comedy about talking cats in France - had previously been used in the UPA animated feature Gay Purr-ee. Set in Paris 1910. In this movie Duchess and her three kittens Marie, Berlioz, and Toulose, get kidnapped by their mistress Madame Bonfamille's butler Edgar after he hears that the cats are going to inherit her fortune when she dies. With the help of Thomas O'Malley Duchess and her kittens find their way back to Paris. Let us tell you why Edgar took Duchess and her three kittens away from Paris. It's because Edgar heard that the cats are going to inherit Madame Bonfamille's fortune when she dies (During Madame's will, she said that her entire estate will revert to Edgar when she dies), Edgar puts sleepy sugar in the Aristocats' favorite. When the cats' are slurping their favorite, Roquefort joins them in a meal and puts the milk into his cracker. He eats it then the cats and Roquefort fell alseep. Edgar then takes the cats away from the city to prevent them from inheriting Madame's fortune. The cats find their way home along with Abraham de Lacy Giuseppe Thomas O'Malley. In the end of this movie, Edgar is locked in a trunk and is shipped off to Timbuktu. |

Robin Hood is a legendary folk hero, a good-hearted outlaw who lives in England's Sherwood Forest and "robs from the rich and gives to the poor." He loves Maid Marian, leads a band known as the Merry Men (which includes Friar Tuck and the oversized Little John) and torments the evil Sheriff of Nottingham. |

WHAT IT'S ALL ABOUT
In the world behind our closet doors, monsters like Mike and Sulley work hard for their income. To be exact, the monster world depends on our children's screams: It is their energy that makes lightbulbs glow and cars drive. Big companies like Monsters, Inc. collect the scream energy, and many monsters work there in shifts. In these times, it is getting harder and harder to shock the kids properly, since they're so spoiled by television, so that there's an energy shortage in the monster world. Sulley, the number one frightener, one day accidentally lets a human child into the monster world. Since kids are supposed to be poisonous and carry loads of diseases, pandemonium ensues. After Mike and Sulley discover that the girl they named Boo actually seems quite harmless, they decide to bring her back through her door into her room. But Boo's presence is more than just a mere accident. Now, Mike and Sulley have to face an enemy within their own ranks.
