Pontyclun FC 6-a-side

The Pontyclun FC Annual 6-a-side tournament is on Saturday 18th July at the Ivor Park. We weclome 20 teams, who will complete for the winners' trophy, with an all day BBQ and Bar serving refreshments, we look forward to an enjoyable day for all who are taking part, or coming along to support. 1st games kick off at 12 noon.

There will also be entertainment laid on, in the form of Karaoke in Pontyclun Athletic Club on Saturday evening, following the end of the tournament.

 Come along and give us a laugh........

training

Pre-season training for the Senior and Under 19 teams will start on Thurs 2nd July at the Ivor Park, from 6.30pm until approximately 8.30pm. From there onwards, training will be every Tuesday & Thursday at the same times.

We look forward to seeing all new & existing players there as we look forward to the 2009 /10 season.

Pre-Season Friendlies

Pre-Season Friendly Matches arranged so far, will be listed below............

Thurs 23rd July - Lewistown FC (AWAY) 6.30pm KO - Pontyclun travel to Lewistown FC of the South Wales Senior League for our 1st Pre-Season friendly. Lewistown finished 10th in Div 1 of the Senior League last season and will provide a good test for the Clun.

Sat 25th July - Cardiff Corries (HOME) 2pm KO - Pontyclun will face Welsh League 1st Division opposition in local neighbours Cardiff Corries, who enjoyed a decent 1st season back in Div 1 last year, finishing 10th in the top flight.

Tues 28th July - Bridgend Street (HOME) 6.30pm KO - Gary Proctor, who managed Cwmbran Town last season in Welsh League Div 1 has now taken the reigns at Bridgend Street and is putting together a squad to match the club's Welsh League ambitions.

Tues 4th August - Ton Pentre (HOME) 6.30pm KO - Kevin Richards will bring the former Welsh League Champions to the Ivor Park, for this annual friendly fixture which will be a big test.

Friday 7th August - Afan Lido (HOME) 6.30pm KO - The former Welsh Premier outfit and recent Welsh Cup Finalists will be another stearn test for the Clun after an excellent game between the two sides last summer.
