Hi!. So I'm now your new updater person cos faye taught me how to use the html format thing (I think, tell me if this goes wrong). It might seem harsh but we are getting em properly printed and its so much more work when the rules get broken..
(Now they might seem far away but this does not mean 'start your pencil on the 24th' It means start it NOW because its going to take a long time to get out really high quality stuff)

We arrived at the festival(the fresh) in limrick at 10am after a long train-party and fraternisation with other film makers *cough fionn*. A good 7.5 hours sitting hard arts center seats later, watching amazing, good and .. not so good films, we were all sitting on the edge of our seats (or passed out under them) when Hector of tg4 took the stage. With minimum being-unable-to-read-the-card, he finally called out the winners. Date with Destruction came second! (out of 120+), The members of The Re.productions crew were presented with a hilarious novelty check by Hector,

2) Scripts should be presented in script format not, verbal or vauge handwritten story format. 'stage directions' are all important if you have any at all in mind so be clear.
5) Tutorials in comic making are avaliable, just see me (faye);
a couple of tips:
Use angles to improve it no end
Use Shading to improve it no end
Use referances (really, do. especially on clothes)
Plan out the background at least a little, draw a basic map.
Get used to your character before you start.
Use Unusual Panal formats to improve and enhance comic no end.
use 135gsm-180gsm paper (good paper)
Do not write the words in yourself, submit the exact wording you want along with comic and larry will write them in. (for continuity)
Do NOT INK YOURSELVES (unless pre-approved).

Heya, Ponchomania will be Omnipresent in town on Saturday (Probably now or 'was' by the time half you read this..). We'll be at the Anarchist Book fair selling ponchomania 2 (not 3, 2.) back with a vegetable sometime between the hours 12pm and 6pm. We will simultaniously be comicing it up in Headache-land (foodcourt of Stephen's green center) and anyone who has work left for 3 should come and we can party. also between 12pm and 6pm..
The book fair is "somewhere near st.patricks'" so seeya there.

I guess i could afford to pay it a bit more attention though.
Deadlines and such:
Everything should be finished and prninted and burned and made by next month which means any comics not handed in within about a week and a half will be moved over to the next issue.

1. Pretty soon alot of the world will be underwater because of global warming, and the melting ice caps.
2. There is a supervolcano that may decide to erupt, in america.
3. If theres an earthquake in a certain place part of an island or something is going to fall into the atlantic and send a tsunami straight at us.
4. The sun is going to implode or run out or something this week, give or take a few billion years.

I am organising an event called the 'Tag' game. You take small wooden sticks and you have to slip them into bags, hoods, pockets etc 'tagging' as many people as possible noticing.
Anyone who wants to play meet up in steven green on saturday at 2pm. (time may be changed), sticks will probably be provided, liberated from nearby macdonalds.. The winner will (hopefully) get somthing sugarful, and bring more sugar so there can be some sugar scoffing after. i think ruth then wants to make everyone see Pride and Predijuce. (and i recommend it)

Decleration of fact. It's been a slow summer, the staff are spread far and wide over the globe resulting in a lot of normality and not enough originality.
In good news though it means that older ideas are being worked on. Ponchhomania 2: the Sequal (Now in cherry flavor!) for one, with around havlf the comic in completed pages. (actully probably a full comics worth but i dont want to get your hopes up). I will leave big messages and forms and links and the like when it is finally done.
Staff T-shirts are being made, and the 1st batch are disasters so theyll be named 'honerary staff t-shirts for the XXXL man who can't read'.

In response to a post on cbox i put the link to the archives at the bottom of the page. They date back to the infamous 'conor biography' post.
We don't really use the forums so i'm letting another website borrow part of it. Play nice should actually decide to vist. They'll arrive in a week or two (if at all, they might be as hopeless as you lot.).

Got back from the concert late last night and i will never take the little green Vertigo// band off.

On a partially related topic; (stupid) EXCUSES WHY THE COMIC IS LATE!
Today we decided it would be fun to rise early and mosy on down to lough dan in co.Wicklow. We brought sandels instead of walking shoes and no map, just ruth's vauge memory of having been there before but NO FEAR! we brought plenty of sandwiches.
After a couple hours bewildered walking we eventually arrived and decided to display our knowlage of wilderness survival. Using ONLY:
One lighter
An entire box of matches and
two cans of flammable aerosols
We eventually managed to light some dry sticks.
I lied this has nothing to do with the comic being late.
I shelled out money on our horribly messy downloads. Actual MONEY. 10 quid and all the downloads in perfect working order (quality could be better..). shameful isnt it? Well, at least some of them still show the wrong pictures, the real shame would be if everything does what it says it will.
New guys back! and hopefully with him the return of the only decent comics we have.

Got a job starting on monday for four weeks and am going to holland for five days also so faye will probably have to do most of the work for a while, I'll try though.
Ewww work. Downloads not working.. dont know why, might just be that geocities copped on to us piggybacking them. ill get nuclear fusion working soon anyway. The comics didnt work either, but thats just cause nicky got locked out.

I'm at work, which means that i REALLY shouldn't be on here. Hey they're paying me to update (see i told you ponchomania would make money). Anyway work is 9 - 5 which means i have even less time to update then ususal.. but i (hate is such a strong word) hate it here so i might quit soon. The movies are being upgraded to FASTER, Better, generally Cooler films. You know this because it it will say Fast? Yes or No. No= slow, fast-yes, its a simple system. The movie 'Drugs are bad(quality) is the latest film.
Out of milk is todays NEW FILM! sooo tasty. a good few of the movies are faster now. please test them and tell me if they arnt working.
