PoLLy PoE! writes and performs childrens' story-poems! and is known to little people and big people everywhere...well almost everywhere 
How did it all start?
When she was 5yrs old she was hit (run over) by a car while crossing the road to catch the school bus on a rainy day in February. It was also her grandma's birthday.
While bedridden in the hospital for two months with her legs up in the air,(called contraction) her grandma would visit her every single day and because Polly wouldn't eat, her grandma made a guessing game out of Delmonte* fruitcocktail...Polly would close her eyes while her grandma fed her, one by one, a piece of fruit and have to guess which fruit it was.. The cherries were always the easiest to guess and the most favorite to eat . Never enough of them, of course 
.
At times, it was fun being in the hospital. 
The Doctors and Nurses sure had a sense of humour about it
Upon returning home from the hospital, she was still unable to walk and refused to use crutches..because she thought they were creepy and scary looking.. so instead she crawled, braced herself against the walls or had her grandma lift her around..especially when she had to go to the loo. (bathroom)
It was in this time that Polly started writing stories, her first one being about a Princess named Kimmy, while her grandma would draw the pictures.
Now somewhat grown up
PoLLy PoE! has performed in San Francisco, Los Angeles,New York and Toronto performing at Word On The Street in support of Pueblito Canada.
PoLLy PoE! has also produced, directed and performed a poetry fundraiser in support of.... The Teresa Group.
