The Puzzle is made by sliding the Pokémon icons across to make lines, however it is more complicated that that.

This game has 4 Modes of play. They are as follows:

1. Adventure Mode - Featuring the path of Lucy Lightfoot, an agent of the Secret Operation League, who has to save Pokémon from the evil Phobos Army
2. Endless Mode - Where you just play to try and beat your best score and go on as much as possible
3. Battle Mode - You try to beat a friend via Wireless Link across 2 DS's
4. Pair Mode - You and a friend try to beat the Top Score together via the Wireless Link

There is also a Pokédex in this game which contains all 386 Pokémon and maybe more, all you need to do is make a combination with them in any of the modes and it will be added to your Pokédex

As with all Puzzle Games, the gameplay stays constant and relies on you and your need to beat your own score...but to get all 386 Pokémon will be quite a feat to do...
