Appearance: Laine has a medium build, long and lean rather than
stocky and strong. She stands around 5'7" and weighs just over a
hundred pounds. Her features are rather boyish, from her proud stance
to her set, bony jaw and thin lips. Her only 'pretty' feature is her
eyes, warm and friendly blue in the irises with uncommonly dark navy
bands around the outer rim. She's got smooth, tannish blond hair that
she always ties back and lets get to a few inches past her shoulders
before she whacks it shorter.

Personality: Laine is a girl of action. She's always looking for
something to do, somewhere to go. She can be eccentric in her tastes,
but not outrageously so. She always puts her brother first, and looks
out for him in any situation. She knows that he'll want to go his own
way when he can, and is hoping he'll delay that choice for a long
while. Laine is the responsible one to Acher, but is quite
scatterbrained, and has no responsibility for herself. She can be
extremely stubborn, and has a quick temper.
History: Born and raised in the Johto, Laine grew ignoring her
ability to morph into a Pokemon. After all, when she had told her
parents about it, they laughed it off and said it was good story. She
never mentioned it again. She was always fascinated in Pokemon,
however, and lived for the moments she could walk and talk with them.
When she was five, her parents had a baby boy, much to her delight. She
took to him right away, and did her best to be the best big sister she
could be, standing up for him when he started school, and giving him a
hand to hold. When he was 11 and she 16, their parents decided to move
to a reasearch facility on a far off island that explorers had recently
found. Unfortunately, halfway through the voyage, an unexpected storm
caught the ship and capsized it. Laine managed to keep a hold on Acher,
and they in their life jackets drifted. Shortly thereafter, Laine
shifted into her Pokemon form, and pleaded with the first creature she
saw, a Mantine, as it was, to help her. It took pity on her, and
floated the pair to the nearest island, Heara Island. There, the girl
finally confided her abilities to her brother, learning that he was a
Hoothoot Pokemorph. The two set out to forge a living on their new home.

Archer, the Hoothoot
Appearance: Acher is a skinny little child, 4'8" and 67 pounds. He's
got very little muscle, and curly, light brown hair that flops past his
ears. His eyes are his sister's, only with a slight grey tinge.

Gender: Male
Personality: Acher is the definition of somber. He's fairly
intelligent, but he often chooses not to speak his mind. He does his
best to take care of himself, and doesn't like when his sister tries to
baby him. He acts years above his age, and very rarely trusts anyone
besides Laine. Because of this, he doesn't make friends easily. He
leaves that to his sister.
History: The same as Laine's, pretty much. He also told their
parents that he could turn into a Hoothoot, but they thought he'd
gotten the story from Laine.
