Quiet. Many people suspect Motoko to be mute because of how quiet she is, but she just rarely speaks. She isn't necessarily shy, but prefers to communicate with her actions and feelings rather than through speech. Motoko is also a very serious creature and mature for her age. The girl loves to create tea from berries that she gathers and is known as an excellent brewer throughout the island.
History:
Outcast and alone. That's how Motoko's parents felt most of their lives, even when they had their only daughter. Continuous bad luck caused them to lose faith in the mighty Arceus. The bad luck even passed onto their daughter, whose life was uneventful and friendless. Not soon after she turned seven, both of her parents swore off the Creation Pokemon in a fit of rage. Their even worshipped darker Legendary Pokemon, including Giratina and Darkrai.
Motoko started to withdraw even further into her shell and refused to talk at all except to her parents because of their terrible secret, but she still prayed to Arceus as they continued to rage against him. As punishment for their blasphemy, the angered Arceus turned their young daughter into a Natu. Pitying her because of her devotion, however, she was separated from her parents and sent to Heara Island. She has lived alone ever since.
