The Power of Lighting

Untold Power

When summer rain falls,
thunder, fire flash from heaven
cuts the pine in half

The Moon

A Touch of Heaven

Tonight the gibbous moon shines bright
like katharsis for my infinite thoughts

Touched by natural chord’s
calling me above dark treetops
brushing cerulean skies
as if I belong with them amid the
myriads and myriads of stars

Wedding Bliss

Wedding Bliss

They take their journey united as one;
while the musician played always and forever
the bridesmaids wore satin grey gowns;
and the groomsmen, silk grey shirts and black slacks

The blushing bride dressed in soft white lace
the waiting groom a black and grey dinner suit
they exchanged personal vows
and the traditional I do’s

The first dance of the night
they waltz to their special song
while couples young and old;
gracefully enters the dance floor

Mercedes Benz grey with black trim
they ride away as husband and wife

Teachers Can Be Heros

Teachers

Teachers are a precious gift
They teach our children the fundamentals
Of what it takes to succeed in world
They have yet to realized
Graduation with hopes and dreams
Of what their life will be like
Teachers some are golden and makes
A plea wanting to make a
Difference in our children lives

College teacher are there to help
Those from the old school come up to
Date with the technology of this world
Constant changes

Some teaches are there for the pay
Not caring about the mark they leave
On our kids but expect to be treated kindly
And remembered graciously when adults.
Children have memories
Like elephants they remember who treat
Them badly some did not understand when
They needed that special attention.

Teachers that do it for the love of a child
Get discouraged to see children left behind Because the system was more concern with
Sports and activities other than education
Parents must be involve if their child is
To come out of this era of their live in one piece

Some teachers use children as
Sex toys not giving them a chance
To be a child all grown up they become
By the age 6.The world is changing
Fast there are no boundaries between
Adults and a child

Teachers a precious gift when the proper
Love is involve
Teacher a menace to our children when
Unnatural affection is prevalent

A World Where Light Never Visits

Glaucoma

Glaucoma king of the dark
Dims the sight
Like a dimmer switch
Turning down the light

Surgery mighty warrior
Turns up the light
Like a dimmer switch
Opening up the window of the eye

Like storm clouds on a cloudy day
Like the sun behind white cotton clouds
Glaucoma takes you
A place where light never visits

Senryu:

Listen

Fireflies glow at night
as critters sing, but not seen
 under dark heavens

Adore

Arms like a cocoon
is keeping the heart sheltered
as love grows stronger

Wishing On a Beach

Wish I was on a beach watching the waves
running from water that suck the sand from under my feet,
wish I was listening to the heralding thunder and
seeing the silver streaks of lightening across the skies
wish I was beholding the clouds kissing the horizon
wish I could run away and never be found

Cicadas Sunrise, Sunset

As the sunrise on another day
Darkness conceals her beauty
Within the heart of earth clay
After seventeen years obscurity
Cicadas makes her appearance

Before the sunset on another day
A gorgeous creature to the eyes
Cicadas travels in search of a mate
Finds her love somewhere in time
She dies before the sunset splendor

Paradise Amid Parks

Swan Lakes' glory

Heat of summer
Burns my flesh
As I walk the park
Of swan lake gardens
The birds singing
The seagull's dances
Through the air

The waters of paradise
Life giving creatures
Peaks from beneath its surface

The flowers blossoms
Everywhere the path leads
Memorial tombs of all who care
To make a difference

Summer festivals happy people
Enjoying themselves
Children playing on the playground

Winter fest fun and games
The kids enjoy adults alike

Picnics parties back to school bashes
Before the rush of books and pencils
School buses rolling before day breaks

Fall is near its getting cold
The nights are longer
The days are shorter
Faster and faster to a white snowy winter

The holiday lights make bright the nights
Multicolor tress with fallen leaves
Covering the grass now turn brown

A canopy with beautiful brides
And handsome grooms
Taking the plunge into marital bliss
Happy faces pearly white teeth
Graces the faces of all who share their joy

Then glory of Swan Lake its water fountain
In the middle of the lake glistens
People from all over the United States
Comes to enjoy her endless beauty

Take a stroll through its abundant
Peace a world free from life stresses

Jealously The Monster Insisde

Jealously

Jealously can make the insecure crazy
Treat the one they love with such contempt
Jealously turn good people to savages
When they beat the one they love to death
Jealously can turn love to hate in the heart
Of the one they claim to cherish
Jealously can be rotten to the bone
Nothing good can come from it

Jealousy can you endure
Some find the strength to pull away
Jealously a green eyed monster
Will make you black and blue
Jealously can you survive?
Some did not were stalked and slain
Jealously where did you come from?
How did you come to exist?
I do not know from where you start
But from here you must soon depart

Fresh Breeze On A Winter Hot Day

Breezy Day

Fresh winter breeze
Cools
Hot chocolate skin
Sweating
Under sunny rays
Shining
Behind white cotton clouds

Precious Memories

Wedding Vow

Our wedding day
Beautiful pink and white
Flowers
The love we shared
Laughter we behold
The dreams we had
Recaptured on our
Twenty-year anniversary
Joy of married life

Children one big family
We envision now a reality
The joys and passions
The love grew stronger
Together we bonded
Wedding vow repeated
To love and cherish
Today and forever
We recapture this special day

The Love Ones We Miss  We Remember

Sister Gone Never Forgotten

Death is like a leaf in the wind
Our dear sister is gone
her smile her face her voice
I remember fills this house
loving caring sister she was
asleep in death never forgotten
a friend she was there to make a difference
a daughter a sister a cousin many loved
a wife a mother she was to those she left behind

we cry for you now
but God will say wake up my daughter
no sorrow no pain no tears no wondering why
only smiles on the faces of all you loved
in a new earth under new heavens
free from all the troubles you once new
where no sickness will take your life
from all that gave you happiness
again you will live your joys
