The 2nd Annual GS Suzuki National Convention  is open to anyone with a 1976-1987 GS model Suzuki   or anyone that used to have one. All bikes are welcome.

 It's set for the first week of August so that people can bring their families.  It is a week long Gala, Rides everyday, new people to meet everyday. So many great roads in the area you can ride a different ride every day  and still not ride them all. Small group rides to beautiful scenic locations, world class shows in Branson (not far away) white water rafting in the area, Eureka Springs (full of unique shops), trout fishing right in the park, pontoon boat and jet ski rentals (15 minute ride away), caves and caverns to tour, did I mention all the great roads in the area. It's still months away plenty of time to plan for a week long Vacation of riding and hanging out with great people in the beautiful Ozarks.

Every motorcyclist at least once in his or her life should ride the Ozarks. I kept meaning to for years and then the GSR convention happened along and I figured that was a sign that it was my time. I will be returning. The roads have hardly any traffiic. They are well engineered. And the surface is well maintained. Some of the roads in the Appalchians are more technical. The Pacific Coast highway has more spectacular views. But if I had my choice of a place to be dropped off at dawn and not expected back till sunset, it would have to be the Ozarks.
